IEEE Radio and Antenna Days of the Indian Ocean

In line with the previous editions, the organizers will offer a limited number of awards to assist young scientists from developing countries to attend IEEE RADIO 2016 (priority will be given to scientists from least developed countries, http://www.itu.int/ITU-D/ldc/listldcs.html). They are typically awarded to PhD students and eventually young scientists under 35 years old at the time of the conference.

Only partial financial support (basic local accommodation and, depending on available funds, eventually waived registration fee) will be provided to the few selected candidates who should make their own arrangements for travel.

To apply for the Young Scientist Award, in addition to the 2 pages short paper to be uploaded (see Paper Submission), please provide the following documents by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. 1. Extended 4 pages version of the short paper (2 pages) that was submitted online

2. A CV which includes a list of publications

3. If you are a student, a copy of your student id card

4. A letter from the head of your department (or supervisor if you are a student), indicating that travel will be paid by your institution if you are selected as YSA.
